Oak color

There are two types of oak trees in the United States, red oak and white oak , with various subspecies of each. Raw red oak comes in a wide variety of colors , ranging from cream colored in the outer layer to deep reddish. While white oak tends to look more beige-to-brown and red oak looks rosier, it’s not always easy to tell the difference between the various types of oak based on color alone.
