How do you clean glue off concrete floor? Luckily, various methods can be tried to get the cleanest removal possible. Water, heat, solvents and sanding are all choices that can be used depending on what adhesive was used and what flooring lies beneath. Insert the blade of the scraper under the loosened edge of the flooring and lift up on the handle. Using chemicals (people recommend lots of different ones) to soften or eat away at the glue , making it easy to mop up.

While this may not banish every last bit of carpet glue from the floor , getting rid of as many large pieces as possible is a good starting point before moving on to.
