Cocobolo lumber

The wood is very durable and strong, with a fine texture. It is extremely beautiful, ranging in color from dark red to reddish brown, with an irregular grain pattern. Processed cocobolo lumber.


Optimal for creating large, detailed models. It is denser than most Rosewoods and oilier. For best in gluing, epoxy is recommended. Only the heartwood is used: this is typically orange or reddish-brown in color, often with a figuring of darker irregular traces weaving through the wood.
